Farah Orphanage Project Photos: Renee Bergan   Our local group has taken on a special project: funding a new orphanage, which will be located in Farah, a remote province in western Afghanistan. RAWA says "Farah is a neglected region with no aid agencies working there, very backward in its entire concept." Provision for more orphaned children is desperately needed. Our group has promised to raise $53,000 to build, staff and run this orphanage for a year (a very low cost compared to similar projects in the U.S.!)
