June 10, 2007
  Our group hosted Meena Nanji at the SB Library Faulkner Gallery for a showing of her powerful film, "View From a Grain of Sand." Meena answered many questions from the audience afterwards and Afghan handicrafts, along with DVD's of her film, were sold in the Lobby.



August 18 and 19, 2007
  Dance, Art and Music Festival at Oak Park. Our group had a booth for two days this year. Thanks to the generosity of Jill Sheldon, who rented a large tent for us.


October 27 - 30 , 2007
  RAWA's Director of Orphan Supporters, Amena Shams, visited Santa Barbara as part of a national tour to meet orphan sponsors and RAWA Supporters.

  We held our 8th annual Holiday Handicrafts Bazaar, hosted at the home of Jill Littlewood and J. Kahn. We had several local artisans join us, along with our carpet merchant.
